On my mind..

Hi all my lovelies, 

Today I decided to post a bit of a different entry, not really relating to beauty or fashion. This post is more about life in general. So I wanted to share this quote.

This quote is something that I try and live by, there are many variations but this is basically the gist of it. Anyways, I find that so many people waste their days worrying, worrying about school, work, relationships, asking themselves questions that they themselves do not have the answer for. All this is counterproductive though, worrying literally stresses you out for no reason. It took me a long time to realize this, but worrying about something that happened yesterday just ruins your today. Now I do my fair share of worrying, in fact I'm pretty anxious about things 90% of the time. But I found that when I learned to just accept that some things were going to be the way they were, and I can't go back in time to fix them, I regained balance. We need to stop thinking of what we COULD have done, and think what we CAN do right now. Everyday is a blessing, why ruin it with toxic or negative thoughts consuming your mind. 

This is my rant for today

February Favourites!

Hey everyone,

I know its a bit late to be doing a February favourites but I figured, its better late than never!

February was an extremely busy month for me, between school and work I was completely exhausted. Not to mention on the break that I did get from school, I came down with the worst sinus infection I have ever had. Finally I am feeling better! I still can not believe that it is March already, where does the  time goooo!

Now I know that there are probably many other redheads that are guided by certain misconceptions about what they can and cannot do makeup wise. I am extremely excited to begin sharing my love for all things beauty and fashion with all of you!
I feel that since this is my first post, I should share a bit about myself. My name is Kristina, I am at the ripe old age of 21 and currently attending university. I live in the coldest place ever, Canada, (jk its really not even as bad as people make it out to be). The idea of creating a blog has been circling my mind for quite some time and so I finally decided to take the plunge!

I read the quote, "do something today that your future self will thank you for", and as funny as it sounds thats what made me decide to do this! I wanted 2014 to be all about trying new things that I have wanted to do, so I figured this is a good start!
